I just read this article about a hotel to be built in Todos Santos entirely of modules "manufactured" via a 3D printer. While it seems like a joke at first,
apparently the project is well-funded and has already built a small prototype in Tulum. The story has been picked up by the Gringo Gazette, which adds
that the developers won't reveal where in Todos Santos the hotel will be built.

The Marines have tested/evaluated a 3D construction system.

The technology is here to stay, although it remains to be seen if can be adapted to produce materials on a larger scale. So far it's been used to
create clothing, food, and a fighter jet. What a time to be alive!

Speculation about the location and logistics is very active on the Baja Western Onion Facebook page.
