Clearly, all the SD [republican] employers (including Navy shipyards) raised hell about staff no-shows due to CBP's bogus "Covid Lane Reductions" and
consequent 8-hour waits (in reality, more politics & xenophobia).
Shazam! Lanes re-opened!
The gal dying in her car Sunday while waiting for 8-hours probably wasn't seen as great PR, either.
Anyway, apparently Northbound is back to "normal".
She did say that CBP appeared to be ransacking vehicles more than usual because, naturally, THE COVID IS IN THE TRUNK!
[... and drugs/people aren't being smuggled through tunnels and on private jets. Nope, never, no way.]
