Is the Mexicali (West) border crossing (southbound) open 24 hours?

Yes, borders are open both directions when open. Mexicali East is 6 am to 2 pm currently (as is Algodones). elskel - 9-26-2020 at 12:42 PM

However, going north there are unannounced stoppages because the US border people may close the gates during published open times. They are trying to
discourage travel. Once the closure lasted 4 hours.
Of course no way to predict.

could not find verification for Algodones. looked like 10pm for what I found. with all the walking persons at Algodones it seems like many would be
stranded in Mexico? where could I find official information from US govt?
