Free - Large Paper Mache Sculptures

EscherCShells - 11-18-2020 at 06:12 PM

So i will be moving in the new year and need to get rid of a flock of sculptures. Most are people-sized and rather unique. Not things you see every day; or any day.

Sculptures are located in South Ensenada (Chapultepec).

go to https://eschercshells.com

and open the Free Sculptures page.

cheers, gordon

A Big Thank You To Everyone For Supporting Free Art

EscherCShells - 11-20-2020 at 09:53 PM

I was overwhelmed by the responses to my posting for free sculptures.

Clearly there is a HUGE interest in evocative art when the price and subject are right. all the free sculptures plus three more sculptures have been spoken for--and i am delighted in being able to be generous, especially at Christmas.

And lets be clear, i never created any of that stuff thinking about money. It was simply an experiment: collect stuff from the beach and see where it took me.

And what ever grew from my exploration of punta banda would be different for every other beach and community in baja.

So my challenge to you is to take some time to SEE and TOUCH the world around you. if its dead bring it home and play with it. see where it leads you. . .

you just might make a great many people happy. and especially yourself in the very best way possible.

Ho, Ho, Ho,
Gordon

Nine More Free Sculptures Available

EscherCShells - 11-30-2020 at 07:02 PM

As i continue to send my "kids" to new homes, i have added nine table-top sculptures to my Free Sculptures page. First come, first served, though i will hold pieces on request. one per family.

So far we are creating a substantial Sculpture Garden in Mulege, and have sculptures heading to the Guadalupe Valley, Bay of LA, Guererro Negro, Tijuana, and San Clemente. . .

I Just want to say everyone has been very respectful and diligent in transporting their sculptures home. Being an old hen i appreciate that.
