Any ideas for a peaceful and/or romantic getaway south of Ensenada and north of San Quintin or El Rosario?
Any quiet hotel on the beach along this route?
Thanks for the help!

I would be thinking along the lines of the Cielito Lindo on the south side of San Quintin.
Something to consider would be getting a rental in La Bufadora or Punta Banda:

You may want to check out the Estero Beach Hotel.

This is fine if you want to stay in the great teeming metropolis of Ensenada, albeit somewhat removed.
If you want to feel and see Baja, then you need to journey South, at least to Cielito Lindo (with a quick lunch run down to El Rosario)
Ensenada ain't Baja!! Sorry.
Just like LA ain't California...
Baja Arriba!!

Try the Leech Hotel. Great service...not too many complaints

Cielito Linda might be quaint and interesting but I would not consider it for a romantic getaway. The new owners have let it get incredibly run down
and the beds are hard as a rock. Tent camping is more comfortable. I wish I could stay there because my kids love playing in the little playland but I
have to vote for the Old Mill in San Quintin. Personally I would vote for the Estero Beach Hotel.

Las Rosas at the north end of Ensenada. Muy romantico!

I think a really nice place is the Mini Motel on the way to La Buffadora. I think the rooms start at $45.00 and there is also a bus that was owned
by Tammy Wynnette that goes for $75.00. You have access to a canoe to take out in the Bahia de la Totos Santos. When the tide starts going out there
are little sandy beaches to sun bath or what ever. My husband and I have stayed there many times. It is a very quiet little town with a few grocery
stores and a bar and restaraunt across the street. If you deceid on this place, and Jay is there, please tell him Jim and Ruby said hi.

Yes, that place is excellent. No bar at the hotel, but a pretty good one across the street. Haven't been there in a year. Room #4 is the ticket!
