I've always heard "bad luck" translated as "mala suerte", but Transparent Language's "Spanish Word of the Day" mailing translates it as "mala pata"
(literally "bad paw"). Given their Castilian bias, I wonder if it's unique to Spain or if it's used in other Spanish-speaking countries as well. How
have you heard "bad luck" translated in Mexico?

Here is a tune called "Que Mala Suerte" by Los De Abajo.
