Interesting it doesn't give any location address for the garden or the museum??

i always check out botanical gardens. most major cities in the world have good ones. one example is the one in Amsterdam, as i remember, over 500 years old. doctors back in the day accessed botanical plants brought back from the far away places dutch traders were visiting.

The one in San Miguel de Allende was really, really fun. They had some little, rare ones for sale that came home with me. I had them in my carryon and the attendant said they were potentially dangerous so we put them in the suitcase.

There is a gentleman in Matlock, Derbyshire in England who started a cactus greenhouse called ABBEY BROOK CACTUS NURSERY that has one of the most exquisite and vast collections I have ever seen.

I have not been to Amsterdam but will sure go one day.

Ready for a laugh? As I was looking up the cactus nursery, I saw one named PRICK in London hahahahaha

the one in Singapore has thousands of bougainvillea varieties....and more palm species than one imagine exists. the paris botanical garden has a palm house that would be incredible even without the palms.

Some of you may have seen parts of my favourite botanical garden.

It is all over Baja ... ;)

pacificobob - 1-15-2021 at 05:44 PM

quite right. just today i took a ride up in the hills. i was noticing every ridge and drainage offer a slightly different assortment of plants than the previous one.
remarkable variety for such a dry climate.

Thank you Tom! Good PI work!!
Just to the south side of the military base along Hwy. 1 and
north of the town plaza, west side of the highway.

Thanks for solving that mystery! It looks like it needs agua but I love the murals.

That desert is sooooooo amazing. And so isolated. Wonderful.

Aah, it looks like it's a restaurant as well. I like to camp out by the volcanoes and frequently stop a block or so from here to air down/up. I'll have to check this out on my next trip.
