Effective January 26, 2021: Pre-travel COVID-19 testing is required for guests on flights entering the United States from a foreign country.
This CDC emergency order applies to all U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals.
All passengers aged two (2) and older must have one of the following:
Paper or digital proof of a negative COVID-19 viral test (NAAT or antigen) taken within 3 days of departure;
Confirmation of a previous positive test taken within the last 90 days, and accompanied with a letter from a licensed health care provider or public

If you wait to get test at the airport, you be a fool.
Test positive,
They won’t let you on plane, and
Mexico will not want you to go back to cabo.
Will Mexico ship you to a leper colony?
San Felipe, Rosarito or Todos Santos would make a good leper colonies
