As posted in another thread, this is a tradition as we flog south. Santo Tomas marks (for us) the successful navigation of "The Gauntlet"--that region
of shake-downs, congestion, poor planning, and border squalor otherwise known as T-town-to-Ensenada.
On cold winter mornings you can count on a mesquite fire, good brewed coffee, and excellent breakfasts, from chilaquiles to chorizo to exquisite
machaca. Service always warm and polite.
