Yes! God’s speed, I hope they make it! Mars is a lot like Baja! Epic off-roading!

Entering atmosphere of mars now.

bump! i am so stoked about probe and..a bit surprised that there isn't more attention on this. i suppose kim and kanye have stolen the spotlight.

Seriously, nothing on the evening news, either. Maybe if Ted Cruz went to Mars instead of Cancun, they would say more??? LOL

Bob, if you find links of photos from the surface taken by it, please add!

Here you go

Meanwhile millions of people here on planet earth are starving. What a complete disconnect from reality. Really a sad moment in history, but at least Ted Cruz has a suntan! Total disconnect from reality but at least the constitution held up for another year, barely.

Someone posted a picture, I think on facebook, that showed it landed next to a Walmart. Captioned read looking for life on Mars. I thought it was funny. Walmart will probably be the first store on Mars if not Amazon.

It would be more likely to land right between two Oxxo stores, there is rarely just one!

Kidding aside, I am looking forward to seeing footage from the drone they sent with the rover this time.

I led my Zoom lecture to my students with the live landing, I want to thank NASA for their adjusting the schedule to fit into my prefered time slot!
Students were into it!

Have your students sign-up so their name will go on a microchip that will go on the next Mars flight.

Our names are on Mars...along with 11 million other Earthlings. The hubby laughed at me when I signed us up for the flight a few years ago, now he enjoys looking at the Red Planet while telling people our names are up there.

I also signed us up for the Parker Solar Probe that is now circling Venus then it will head toward the sun. Sure hope they packed us some sun screen!!!

No map yet, but give David a few days the rover just got there! It looks like Baja!
