Has anybody flown to TJ and then through CBX northbound lately?
Did you have to get a negative Covid test prior to arrival US in order to transit CBX?
I know it is not exactly flying into the US from Mexico but it is somewhat the same since you can only travel through CBX northbound if you arrived in
the airport??
Anyways....how much is the test in Mexico $$$? I know a bunch of the resorts are offering them. Planning to be in Loreto

My neighbor flew up to TJ from los Cabos last week. He told me no test was required to cross CBX.sancho - 3-29-2021 at 03:04 PM
As Jefe, says there is no covid test required to enter the
US walking across from TJ airport using the CBX bridge.
I suppose there should be a disclaimer that ' as of this
moment' there is no test required. Several passengers
using say, Volaris TJ to Baja Sur, do not require a test.
Makes one wonder, if in the near furture a test is required
one could cab to Otay and walk across as in the old days

This below from the US State Dept as posted on their website today. Says nothing about walking or driving. John M
Effective January 26, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers two years of age and over entering
the United States (including U.S. citizens and Legal Permanent Residents) to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within three (3) calendar days
of departure, or proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days. Airlines must confirm the negative test result or proof of recent
recovery for all passengers prior to boarding. Airlines must deny boarding of passengers who do not provide documentation of a negative test or
recovery.AKgringo - 3-29-2021 at 04:26 PM
I would think that proof of vaccination would also serve their purpose.pacificobob - 3-29-2021 at 04:45 PM
did it both ways last week. no test required. TLBaja79 - 3-30-2021 at 07:18 AM

Good question. What I've heard to date is that they don't know whether vaccination prevents you from being a potential spreader...
Maybe the shot card won't be enough. My news feed had an article from the Wall Street Journal stating that fake cards are available on the dark web.
I suppose that would be for people that don't want the shot, but need access to places or services.
