Punta Marquez:
This is very near Playas Pacificas, a housing project run by Nomads (Rob and Baja Linda) on the land of old Rancho La Aguja. Rob and I did a drive
from Playas Pacificas to Punta Marquez to show me the area.
The 18-mile paved road to Ejido Conquista is near Km. 38 north of La Paz.
From Conquista to Punta Marquez, it is 4.7 dirt miles. All easy driving.

Thanks. I went out to Punta Conejo to camp for a few nights. I would say that road was in excellent shape, however it took me 1.5 hours to go 10 .2
miles to my camp driving a F350 with Lance Camper pulling a trailer. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't take as long!Cappy - 5-19-2021 at 11:52 AM

YES! The coastal road south of Punta Conejo is very bad... lots of rock ledges keep the speed down. This was the main road to La Paz prior to the
1950s and was used for the Baja 1000 in recent years.
