Has anyone been out there recently or in the past few months?
Is the road paved most of the way?
Current Condition?

Not recently, but in August 2017:

Punta Marquez:
This is very near Playas Pacificas, a housing project run by Nomads (Rob and Baja Linda) on the land of old Rancho La Aguja. Rob and I did a drive from Playas Pacificas to Punta Marquez to show me the area.
The 18-mile paved road to Ejido Conquista is near Km. 38 north of La Paz.

From Conquista to Punta Marquez, it is 4.7 dirt miles. All easy driving.

At the Punta Marquez lighthouse, in 2017.

I was there a couple of weeks ago.
Pavement goes to Conquista Agraria
The following dirt road is in decent shape.

Thanks. I went out to Punta Conejo to camp for a few nights. I would say that road was in excellent shape, however it took me 1.5 hours to go 10 .2 miles to my camp driving a F350 with Lance Camper pulling a trailer. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't take as long!

The dirt road from Conejo to Marquez is pretty rough. I rode the trail a few weeks ago on a bike.

YES! The coastal road south of Punta Conejo is very bad... lots of rock ledges keep the speed down. This was the main road to La Paz prior to the 1950s and was used for the Baja 1000 in recent years.

The photo I took on it just doesn't make it look as rough to drive as it was:
