Anyone know how young female Mulege Doctor Doing

LancairDriver - 5-30-2021 at 08:09 PM

A young Mulege lady was doing very well in medical school with a goal of being a brain surgeon several years ago. A regular Mulege part time resident inquired if I had heard if she had found a US hospital residency that she was going for. I have lost track and haven’t heard anything recently. Anyone have any information as how she is doing? I have forgotten her name I think first name was Emily.

She worked hard, and it would be good to get some news of her...

12 grueling years later....

This project was a grandslam, hat trick, and trifecta all in one.

Emilia did not let any of her supporters down. She is the big cheese Residente de Neurocirugía at Hospital civil "Dr Juan I Menchaca" and a few more years of cutting brains she will be fully certified, then I believe she will continue in the US or Europe (she has learned French at a medical level). Smaaaaarrrrtttt.

Given a little water a tiny seed can grow into a Sequoia.

Peace,

Any idea why she wants to leave Mexico?

I wish her the best, but it's kind of sad for the country to lose such talent...

Just to further her education, she is the pride of Mexico and is Mexican to the core. She will be the most important Neurosurgeon in Mexico one day, but you have to expand your horizons to learn all the techniques.

Nice to hear she is doing well. She has put in a lot of work getting there. The best is yet to come.
