you cross at, the pre-paid one is void! No refund.
Just buy it at the border when you cross... at the same desk where you have to take a pre-paid one to get it stamped and validated.

wait a minute...bajabound says "After printing your FMM form, it must be stamped by INM within 30 days to be valid" .....the official mx gov site says
"180 days start at the time its stamped".
where are you getting you have to exit on an exact date? |
I don't think he said anything about exiting, only entering Mexico. When you purchase the FMM online you must fill it out completely including the
date and location of crossing. If you enter on a different date or a different crossing it may not be honored. But if you fill it out at the border
the date and crossing will be the actual date and crossing point.
