New development in El Pescadero?

I just found this article online that mentioned a new development in Pescadero called "El Perdido". Initially I thought they had confused it with "Paradero", but noted several other articles about the same place. Can anyone confirm?

The portion of the website with the road trip looks familiar. I am certain that most of the shots were taken on the west side of the pass that runs through the Los Naranjos ranch.

It's a different spot. I saw one of their jeeps when we were grabbing tacos at Manchin last time I was down there. The place is located on the baja beans road. I did a drive by and it looked nice enough, but I think I'd be disappointed after looking at that website. It's a pretty small place, looked like half a dozen or so bungalows.

It's on the Baja Beans road a few hundred meters back from the Tequila Ranch. Some of my neighbors went there to have dinner and ended up leaving after one drink when they were told it would be a 600 peso corkage fee to open a 200 peso bottle of wine. They were charged 300 pesos for a mojito.

Thanks for the replies! The website definitely gives the impression that the resort is lush and spacious. Judging from the price of wine and c-cktails, I can only imagine how much a few nights in the "jacales" must cost, particularly with the included "sensory experiences".

Interesting that visitors are encouraged to indulge both their spiritual side in the "ceremonial center" and their destructive side by taking a spin on an ATV.

They are so "woke" that they turned their guests loose on the local beaches to drive over turtle nests with Razr's.

Perdido is following in the footsteps of Paradero and neither of them can compete with Rancho Pescadero. The road Baja Beans is on is called Tequila Ranch Road, or, Tequila Road. It was created and is maintained by the scum who own Tequila Ranch (where dozens of cardon were bulldozed). Owner got a slap on the wrist. The Ranch is a flop.

Tequila road is a dusty and heavily traveled road. Can't see California prices at this location. Perdido is selling fantasy -- are you lost? Marketing.

20+ years ago some in Todos were marketing the town as the Malibu of Baja. Not sure what qualifies as magico but Pesky is getting the run off of Todos mystique. And bullshlt.

Lee....Carmel of Baja out of the SF Chronicle I believe...many years ago.....early 90s?! Perdido....very Caboesque. There have been a few bad accidents out back on the Rancho roads,,,including a neighbor who did not survive. You guys find more gossip than me and I live here...Ha, ha, ha!! Oh yeah..Paul. Rio Negro (sewage) has its appearances.

Interesting story about Pesky sewage meandering off the highway down the road. Think there was an accident a friend was helping with, directing traffic or something, and got into the sewage. The pizza place at that intersection (19 & Tequila Rd.), handed out food to the workers. She was contaminated, and handled food, and got Hep.

Guess she was close to going North, got to California and she was yellow and not doing well.

Stay away from the Rio.
