Mojecice Palace (where Les grew up)

BajaBlanca - 8-5-2021 at 01:33 AM

Yesterday, we went to dinner with family at the completely renovated hotel/restaurant where Les and his sister grew up in communist times.

The hotel is now spectacular!! Used for wedding venues.

Les and his sister.

Some photos of the front door and totally redone interior.

The restaurant is super posh. This village probably does not even have 1,000 inhabitants. The Palace was where Les's dad worked as an accountant for the Communist government in the 50's - the office and their home was in this building. His story is amazing - come visit and he will share.

Here is a view out the back where Les says there was a cellar.

Wow! You guys are really doing some traveling. Back in Poland now. Are you headed back to Baja soon?

Thanks for the photos.

We are indeed traveling a lot and there is a lot more to come. We like to make our stays over here worth every minute.

We head home to La Bocana mid September, just in time to handle the fishing season. Already have reservations and looking forward to greeting friends and making new ones. My favorite activity of all!

There's a new TV show on now called Hunting Atlantis, and they were investigating sites in Turkey... thought of your recent photos... stunning!
