Just had to pack up my camping gear and go. I'd done some research on various places - hit the road. My itinerary changed a lot - Ichthyosaur State
Pk was closed, some campgrounds were full and alternatives non-existent, some roads washed out and closed, BLM roads gated. Nevertheless, satisfied
my curiosity, saw some magnificent landscape, got lucky with my boondock camp sites. Went to Wheeler Great Basin NP, Capitol Reef, Historic Eureka,
Garnet Hill, Anasazi State Park, pictograph sites/caves, lots of hiking, rockhounding.
Escalante River Trail
Burr Trail (actually paved - if I could have stayed at the campground, would take 2 days here)
The Castle at Capitol Reef
Fruita pictograph site
Spencer hotsprings - loved the new tub - under the stars is heaven
Oak Creek campground (snow patches on the ground here, but prettiest camp site on the trip - hooting owls too!)

I loved Burr Trail last fall. Got some good images as well.
