I’m amazed there are so many. I think the only one I’ve seen water in is the Sol de Mayo one near Santiago, BCS.

the canyons in Sierra la Laguna almost always have water

Can you drop coordinates of 2 or 3 of the must see ones in Baja Sur?

4x4abc - 12-30-2021 at 12:44 PM

one of the most spectacular ones (of course only when it rains)
25°28'59.79"N, 111° 3'32.48"W

another good one:
29°25'52.16"N, 114°15'15.97"W
on a Cameron Steele video
he calls it Ward Falls

That does look like it would be spectacular.

About 2 miles up the wash. Can you drive up there when the water is flowing, or do you have to hike it?

4WD no
moto maybe

hiking not difficult

4x4abc - 12-30-2021 at 07:06 PM

you can drive up to the one in Agua Verde

the falls around La Parras in Loreto are the easiest to reach

Today, Tabor/Steinbeck Canyon (was hoping there would be more water after recent rains).

how was the hiking weather?

100X - 1-1-2022 at 06:42 PM

The weather was very nice!

Unlike last time a month or so ago, I saw about 15 people in the canyon, in about 6 separate groups. Did not go as far in though.

Today, a little South of Elias Calles:

Small but close to the ocean, Can drive up to it in 4X4, sometimes 2x4. Usually runs year round, rarely any one else there.
