We drove from La Bocana to San Felipe yesterday. It was a smooth ride until we hit a coyote (I was asleep in the back) that apparently just popped
into the road and looked at the car with bug eyes. The smash took out the passenger side headlight but nothing worse happened, thank God.
Blanca in the car with boxes everywhere!
We went to the malecon and sat down at our table closest to the Sea. I saw a sign for LOBSTER WITH SHRIMP special for $20. I was on it! It was
delicious. The strawberry margarita was not as good as the mango one I had last time, for the record LOL
La Morena restaurant.
A woman came buy selling these mpbiles and loving to support individuals working hard, I asked Les to buy us one. They are hand painted and the top
one is a coconut. Very ecological mobile.
Here is the craft seller.
We are sitting at the table and a woman comes and asks about the mobile, so I pull it out and we begin chatting. I ask if she lives in san felipe and
she says they are from Canada and it is their first day, ever, in Mexico.
They are traveling south on an adventure. Can you remember your first time exploring?! I gave her our hotel card, Les showed her on google maps
where we are and they are going to La Bocana!
Not only that, but Cindy's two favorite places in the world are TURKEY and VIETNAM. She wants to keep in touch and hear about our live in Alanya.
It was a very, very nice last day in Mexico!

WOW, your last day in Mexico
Enjoy Alanya!

We love Alanya! The transition has been so smooth: We have cell phone and high speed internet, we have an incredible view of the Mediterranean from
the front window and all around us, any convenience we need from pharmacies to restaurants to a health clinic.
Very hot but there is the beach across the street and air conditioning in the middle of the day!
I have started a garden, love my plants.

Thanks for your reports, Blanca. I had no idea how things were in Turkey until your posts.
Happy American Independence Day!
