HELLO - WE ARE PLANNING TO STAY IN SAN MIGUEL COMMONDU NEXT WEEK AND I WONDER WHAT THE ROAD TO THERE FROM THE MAIN ROAD GOING TO SAN JUANICO IS LIKE?
WE HAVE A TRUCK ETC BUT I AM WONDERING IF THAT ROAD IS ALSO PAVED OR DIRT?
THANK YOU

All Paved. But, there are other roads, too.
Depends what road you are using. It is possible to stay on paved roads between San Miguel ComondĂș and San Juanico (Scorpion Bay). See my maps or the
Benchmark Baja Atlas, both show the current road conditions (paved or not).

THANK YOU DAVID! MY FRIEND IS DRIVING HER TRUCK AND I DID NOT WANT US TO HAVE "TOO MUCH" OF AN ADVENTURE - LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING IN THE COMMONDUS
AGAIN AND HAVING AN EASIER ROAD TO GET THERE BY

A truck can take any dirt road you might want to take for sightseeing, enjoy!
Go the 2 and a half miles to see the mission chapel at San Jose ComondĂș. Built in the 1750s as part of the largest California mission church. All but
the chapel was demolished in 1936, as it was in ruin.
See more of Baja's history!

As one old timer said "there are no adventures on pavement only sites to see".
