On my Baja Mission Facebook group, a good question was asked... Question? What holiday is most celebrated in the missions?
In the Lower California Guidebook, local fiestas are named. A couple were confirmed by Baja members, but nothing else too definite. The guidebook is
over 60 years old.
Any comments on these and more importantly, what about the other mission towns, such as San José de Comondú?
March 19: San José del Cabo
June 21: San Luis Gonzaga.
June 25: Santiago Apóstol
July 31: San Ignacio Loyola
September 4: Santa Rosalía de Mulegé.
September 8: La Virgen de Loreto.
October 10: San Francisco de Borja.
November 15: Santa Gertrudis
December 3: San Javier.
The Auto Club guide names Mission Santo Domingo as having a fiesta in August (no specific day).
