That Machisimo thing is a b-tch

Not necessarily just the machismo, just look at the long history in Europe of how soccer has a way of bringing exorbitant fanatism. Just do a search for "hooligans".

I am so tired of a few idiots taking away the freedoms of law abiders. It just goes on and on, in this Brave New World that has such people in it.

Now, facial recognition machines will be required at all entrances to Liga Mexican futbol (which I really don't follow at all, living in a Mexican state where beisbol is far more popular).

I don't have much faith that the software won't be hacked for unscrupulous reasons, or used by the authorities for ulterior uses.

Who needs to read dystopian "novels" anymore......?

The words "freedom" and "responsibility" used to be linked in a social context. Not in this century.

What is it about football [soccer for you americans] that arouses these over blown responses from some fans. If it only happened within limited cultures it might be easier to explain.

Plenty of fights in usa stadiums and arenas… enough to keep up with soccer hoologanism
