Ready Lane at San Ysidro?

Santiago - 5-10-2022 at 03:52 PM

Crossed this weekend going north and for the life of us we could not remember how to get to the ready lanes. Anyone have good turn-by-turn?

Yes I would love an update as well. Heading north at the end of the month for a quick turnaround. Swore I would never go through San Ysidro again but have to go to El Cajon to pick up our new bikes.

It's where the concrete dividers start is where I have had the problems. I think the locals there take down the Sentri Lane sign, so they can extort their guidance fees.

If you follow the old road out of Rosarito all the way and then get in the far right lane on bridge that goes over the TJ river and make a right and an immediate hard right that puts you on the road heading north, Alfonso Bustmante Labistada, next to the river that turns into the ready lane.

My experience over the last many many years is that if your goal is Sentri or Ready lanes the old road is just as fast as toll road and then navigating thru town.

YMMV.
