I see all kinds of boats in Loreto and Baja Sur. But, mostly I see pangas. They are used all over Mexico, Central America, South America and the
Carrabian. I would assume that the panga is the best fishing vessel in most conditions since it is used so much. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
Also, what about the new Superpangas? Do they have a better ride or just more room? I fish out of a little Boston Whaler Montauk and find that I can
do pretty much what the pangas can do---faster and cheaper.....but am considering building a panga. Any comments?

Sharky. I've been in both in rough water. Depending upon what model your talking about, I'd rather be in a panga any day. Most of the smaller
Bostons have a very very shallow freeboard. When a storm comes up and you've got to head back as quickly as possible, I'd vote for the panga 100 to
1.

My vote is for the Panga!
