See 370 Baja Book Covers

David K - 7-5-2022 at 05:21 PM

More than one for every day of the year!
More will be added...

Today, I finished uploading the scans of the 51-volume Dawson Book Shop's Baja California Travels Series (1965-1992)
Each volume is about historic events, subjects, Jesuit writings, and more, with one volume serving as an index. Books that do not have covers, I scan the title pages.

See 370 Baja Book Covers* now at the Viva Baja Library: https://vivabaja.com/baja-books/

*Including all 51 volumes of the Dawson Baja California Travels Series (1965-1992)

Some of the 370 covers...

Good to hear, but that is from www.oldmissions.com where I sell new and used Baja books. Thank you for your order!

The post here is sharing the library of all Baja books I have scanned. Most from my personal collection 😜!

whoa, David, that's a lot!

That really is a lot of books! One of the books sold for a whopping $1 back in the day!

I love this. Years and years of reading to do. Thank you!

That's still not all of my collection! More to scan...

Also, Dave Brackney of the Auto Club 2004 guide, has sent me a few book covers to add that I did not have (2001 AAA guides and a Lonely Planet guide).

If anyone else has a Baja book that you don't see on my VivaBaja Library page, please feel welcome to send me the cover or title page scan with the year it was published or latest printing and I will add it with credit for the source.

Do you have this one?

Thank you for reminding me... YES, I have it but had not yet scanned it until now... I just added it after the three editions of his Baja Adventure Book.

Another Baja book with the 'famous' sea level palm tree of El Coyote on its cover!
