I'm interested too so I googled a bit. The use of Paxlovid has been approved in Mexico but I don't think any is available.
In Mexico every successful COVID vitamin and drug is available to anyone, including vitamin b,c,d,magensium, potassium, zinc, ivermectin, quercetin,
all at low cost?
Thanks. Interesting that indications are different from the US where it's "high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or
death".
Mexico basically made everybody eligible - "adults with light or moderate risk of complications". Kind of odd, given availability problems. Though,
with lack of control, prescriptions written in a pharmacy back room by a doctor who has never seen you before - why not giving it to anybody who
wants...
Another question is price. In the US full course costs $530, usually covered. In Mexico it would be at least $200. Don't know how "free" national
healthcare is going to cover it - and it might not cover tourists. By the time generic versions start coming at a lower cost, Covid variants could
make it less effective. They did, with vaccines and preventive drug Evusheld.

"President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 again Saturday, slightly more than three days after he was cleared to exit coronavirus isolation,
the White House said, in a rare case of “rebound” following treatment with an anti-viral drug."
"Biden, who is fully vaccinated and twice boosted, tested positive for Covid on July 21 during a routine test, and was treated with the antiviral
Paxlovid." JZ - 7-31-2022 at 12:15 AM
Talked to a friend yesterday that had it 2-3 weeks ago. He said he immediately felt a lot better after a dose of Paxlovid.
