How far in advance of the race do they post the intended route? I have been in La Paz for a couple of finish line events, a starting event is likely
to be even more madness!David K - 8-6-2022 at 11:04 AM
The race map usually is posted a month before the race... A big race like the 1000 may see the map a bit sooner. The route ideas are discussed among
race teams on Facebook or other media even sooner.TMW - 8-6-2022 at 02:17 PM
It certainly will be different.SFandH - 8-6-2022 at 02:57 PM
That's a good idea. I'll be in BCS. Maybe I'll pick a spot not too far from La Paz to camp out and watch the cars go by.WestyWanderer - 8-6-2022 at 03:09 PM

Punta Conejo, although usually crowded, is a nice place to camp and watch.
Yeah, that would work. I've surfed there a couple of times..........in the previous century.

Last year the Baja 400 came close to San Vicente . Last week up on mountain tractor was moving big boulders . I asked he said baja 400. SFandH - 8-7-2022 at 02:32 PM
Wow, they really did reverse direction! Upside down and backwards.

By turning my laptop upside down, I was able to discover that the map is last year's route.
This year it is a loop run, starting and finishing in Ensenada. I think it is very probable that next year's 2023 route from La Paz heading north,
will be different along some sections of the racecourse.SFandH - 8-7-2022 at 03:29 PM
Post a photo of you looking at your computer upside-down. AKgringo - 8-7-2022 at 04:24 PM
This is going to be interesting. Running the Baja 1000 in reverse is going to require some pretty good mirrors. John Harper - 8-7-2022 at 05:49 PM
