My dog needs a fatty tumor removed. Minor surgery but still surgery. Wondering about saving some money and getting it done in SF. Any good vets
down there to be recommended?

A lot of dogs seem to develop those fatty tumors as they age. I have been told they are not a cause for concern ...more of a cosmetic issue. One vet
told me it was caused by nasty preservatives in dog foods. mtgoat666 - 9-6-2022 at 04:10 PM
Lipomas dont require treatment unless they interfere with comfort or movement. pacificobob - 9-7-2022 at 07:15 AM
I had a springer/golden that had a dozen tumors by the time he was 14yo.
Didn't seem to be a problem. steve5555 - 9-8-2022 at 07:51 PM
