To get back to some fun and games... Where and What in Baja is this?
The hints are there in the photo (soil color, dark thing in center, yes my truck in front)... There are at least two places like this in Baja...

The Squarecircle is exactly right! This is the El Promontorio sulfur mine, south of Mexicali overloking the Laguna Salada.
The El Apache sulfur mine is 22 miles south of San Felipe on the old Puertecitos road (5 miles weat of Mex. 5 at Km. 31 and 32.).
