Someone on a San Carlos Sonora board is wondering if a temporary import permit (the one that accompanies the refundable bond) is obtainable at and of
the Mexicali border crossings OR if the TIP is obtainable in La Paz before you board the ferry to Topolobampo?
Anyone done this in the last 1-2 years?
This person is still in the US. I know that one can obtain an RV TIP by mail, but I dont recall if one can do this for the car permit. Is that also
possible?
