We have been driving the last couple days.
Crossed at Otay and headed east through La Rumorosa which was nice and normal.
Mexicali to San Felipe had a couple spots of 1 way traffic due to road maintenance/construction. Nothing out of the ordinary.
San Felipe to Gonzaga had a few well marked (with cones) side of the roads caving in. Nothing too exciting.
Gonzaga to Chapala had some boulders in the road in a few spots with tractors moving them to the side 9/22.
Just north of Jesus Maria there was a big washout, fixed now with dirt. 2 way traffic was fine.
Guerrero Negro to Vizcaino there was a bit of damage, nothing too big though. All kinds of cars driving through and we never had to wait more than a
couple seconds for slightly narrower than for 2 cars.
San Ignacio has a lot of standing water but is open and great.
I have never seen so many flies in my life. But the rain also brought some beautiful GREEN desert! It looks fluorescent in most areas! Some flowers
are out too!
Overall we drove slower than normal just to be careful of caving in side of the road. But other than that not too different.

WED 9-21-2022:
We crossed at Otay this morning and took La Rumorosa to the 5 and to San Felipe.
Almost nothing at all as far as road damage. A couple places up in Mexicali had 1 lane routine road repairs.
Km 97 was down to 1 lane for repairs. We didn't wait but if u had to prob no more than 2min.
Easy. A bunch of San Felipe is closed right now but talking to a couple of people it sounds like that is because of the heat not the storm

We made it to San Ignacio. Nothing exciting on the roads. Gonzaga to Chapala there are a few spots where they are moving boulders out of the road.
But no waits, just slow down.
Just north of Jesus Maria there is a legit washout but traffic flows just fine.
South of Guerrero Negro there is plenty of damage to the roads but barely even have to slow down.
South of Vizcaino there is more and a road construction project where u drive off the highway for a little bit.
Lots of standing water in San Ignacio. La Huerta is open and great.
We planned and tried to go to Santa Gertrudis but got turned around at Rancho Miraflores. The road past the rancho was impassable. Another time....

San Ignacio to Loreto
The highway leading into Santa Rosalia has plenty of rock and debris but not an issue.
Santa Rosalia to Loreto there are some washed out bridges which have been fixed with fill dirt. There are issues along the way but nothing
concerning. Plenty of Honda Accords driving just fine.
The entire drive we may have waited a total of 1 minute for a few 1 lane parts of the highway
Mulege had a handful of closed places but mostly open and normal. Santa Rosalia looked normal. Loreto is normal, as if nothing happened.
