Power bouncing in southern BCS

AKgringo - 9-29-2022 at 07:20 PM

The power went out a little after 2 PM here in Todos Santos yesterday. I don't know what caused it, but it seemed fairly wide spread. I went for a drive in my air-conditioned Trooper, and it was restored by the time I got back around 4:30.

There was a big thunderstorm in La Paz Wednesday afternoon - started out as a big wind/dust storm and turned into buckets of rain, plus thunder and lightning. This was around 3:30 or 4:00. I picked the wrong day to go to town - couldn't get out of there fast enough!

That could possibly explain the outage in Todos Santos - the power went out in this area also.

I have not heard of any major towers being down - just 2nd hand reports of a couple of poles being down.

Todos Santos....again

AKgringo - 10-1-2022 at 01:20 PM

I woke at 5:40 this morning, and noticed the power was out (no fan).

I don't know when, or why it went out, but it just came back a 1:45 pm.
