The Rap album inspired by a trip to Mulege

I'm guessing there's not a lot of rap/hip-hop fans here but I thought this was a great little piece of music history- a two week trip to Mulege that inspired an album and two music videos in 2003.

Any idea about who that is, and if the recording ever took off?

I wonder if they got wasted away in Margaritaville....we know that works!

I added in the blog link that has the videos and music -

I don't think this was a commercial hit but looks like individually they had a following and respect in the hip hop community. They definitely appeared to have a good time.

Thanks for the link, it was fun to watch. The video quality kind of reminds me of family trips from many years before rap came on the scene.
