No way they will not change to use the east high road.
That has happened at least 3 times in my history and there was no visible water, but really deep mud under the crust.
Getting from the dyke to the high road will still be a big issue as we have found before.

West ranches will use the west valley road with the usual southern access across Huatamote drainage and is already passable.
Reports of the roads across some canyon drainages indicates no problems at the southern end.

saw on race dezert that the lake was dry and its the track... not sure of the time of these pictures.

first week of oct. zoo road was like these pics... the road down valle de chico was also a wreck. It was quite enjoyable with the amount of greenery and washouts.
