Can you take 2 dogs from La Paz to San Diego?

From TALK BAJA

Looking for help to transport our two pups from La Paz to San Diego. My husband was in an ATV accident and was transported by air ambulance to UCSD Medical Center earlier this week. I was able to travel with him but had to leave our pups behind. We won’t return to La Paz for months and need to get pups back with us. If anyone is traveling back in our direction, are dog lovers and have room for Kenzo and Lexi we would be so grateful! 🐶

I am having trouble posting the pics. One is a poodle and the other is a german shepherd.

Talk Baja is coming to Nomad for help? WOW!

The quick answer is that the pups should have rabies shots documents and maybe a certificate of good health from a vet... Last I saw was the U.S. doesn't make a fuss over dogs coming north, like they used to.

The health certificate is no longer required for ground transport, but proof of rabies shots would be a good idea. In all of the crossings I have made over the years (all with a dog) I have only been asked once for any paperwork, and the agent did not even look at it when I held it up. It was a very slow day at the Tecate crossing!

I wish I was down there to help out, those dogs must be getting very confused with such a huge change!

Not talk Baja coming for help, but Blanca trying to spread the word. Dogs are dogs and need to get home!

Bump. Thanks Blanca for trying to spread the word. I wish I could help. Sorry about the standard DK sidetrack.
