Yep, hopefully someday the Gov't down there can regain the confidence of the people that these cartels can be controlled, squashed or at least
monitored and dealt with - but I know that's a dream (at this time).
All the best to you and the family my friend. We hope to cruise down int your area maybe sometime in 2024.mtgoat666 - 1-5-2023 at 06:49 PM

Seems like the violence in Culiacan has died down.
Mazatlan supposedly lifted shelter-in-place advisory.
How many days did tourists have to shelter in place in mazatlan?
Do resorts give you a refund if battles prevent you from exiting your room?
End of tourism for mazatlan?

Yeah, I can only imagine a cruise ship pulling into port and telling the passengers the city is on lockdown. Not good for tourism. Not good (cartel
violence and drug smuggling) for anything really. mtgoat666 - 1-9-2023 at 02:23 PM

In mazatlan, tourists in lockdown at their hotels could look out their windows and see fires burning around the city. The cartel dudes were burning
trucks and busses. Don’t know how much gunfire they could hear
