I may have his final edition? The cover was missing but here is the title page:
The 17th edition (1987) was one Arnold said was stolen and produced by someone else!
An 18th edition was in 1990. Not sure if it was combined with Mainland Mexican airports, as earlier editions had been (+ Central America, too).geoffff - 1-12-2023 at 11:24 PM

No never met him but always had the map
Usually I did Mexicali San Felipe Papa Fernandez and Alfonsinas
Had dinner with Papa when we ate BBQ'd turtle! He told me that the REAL men cut the throat of the turtle and drink the blood flowing out!
I always brought balloons for Papa's family kids of which there were many.
Came back home one time into Calexico
I called Flight Service (USA) prior to Mexicali stop to file flight plan for crossing and customs. Did my Mexicali outbound stop and went to Calexico
After I landed the agent met me and had me come into the office to fill out the paper work
As I was filling out the papers a Bonanza pulled up and spun around in front of the office. The pilot came into the office
With that the customs guy said he didn't have any prior information on the pilot of the airplane to wit the pilot replied?
"I don't have time for that just get me checked through!"
With that said, As I was still writing on the papers he had given to me he quietly walked over and pulled the papers out from under my pen and
quietly told me- "Have a nice day I'll be hear a while!"
With that I took the hint and exited stage right and went to my plane and home.
