I have an app called ISS DETECTOR.
It alerts the user when the iss will be visible.
It also alerts for the Tiangong (Chinese space station)

But this month has something more interesting than the space station. A comet should be visible to the naked eye around Feb 1….
Reportedly is visible right now with binos, but haven’t had a chance to get away from city lights to check it out (and it has been cloudy)

Good guide to viewing the comet:

Goat - Thanks for posting the EarthSky article. Between excessive surface light and typically overcast skies, we wouldn't be able to see the comet here on Cape Cod, but there's some hope that we might when we visit Todos Santos in early February.

Last night, during a brief lull in a series of rain showers, I could almost see the moon. In the part of Norcal I am in nothing else has been visible this month, other than brief glimpses of the sun.

I do miss the night sky in Baja Sur, the stars felt like they were touchable if you put your hand out!
