This 1-minute clip is just great... turn on the sound... Heli-Jim, takes his copter and goes above the arroyo/ canyon above the palms a mile to
Mission Santa María where the Desert Assassins have their Can-ams parked, on Cameron Steele's Trail of Missions 2023. Filmed yesterday May 18, 2023:

For those who have been there, the filming begins one-mile past or east of the mission, where the road meets the white sand arroyo. Jim flies upstream
to the mission, over the palms, and between granite cliffs.

Beautiful footage, David. Many thanks for posting. What a spectacular canyon which I am sad that I have not been to. (-:

Thanks David for posting. Spent a week there and hiked around. Interesting non-indigenous plants here and there and many "sleeping circles" that
were fascinating, telling of a different time. Really enjoyed swimming in the canyon pools too.

So great to hear from two old friends who share my fascinations with 'old stuff' in Baja! The TV show being produced should be a doozer!
Cameron switched things up this year. Trail of Missions had been an event for families, mostly traveling in Ford Raptors to appreciate the history of
Baja and have fun driving bad roads and splashing in the sea.
Can-am is the vehicle of choice for this year with off-road professionals and enthusiasts driving 9from what I saw). Cameron says there still will be
a families-in-Raptors trip, just later this summer.
