I found a great bed and breakfast, Casa Contenta, in Cabo San Lucas. Situated about 2 miles away from Cabo, it has a sense of peace and quiet. Waking
up in the morning to hear canaries singing was a pleasure.
The 7,000-square-foot Casa Contenta is Craig and Lori Harrison's private home, and it has expansive views of sunrises, as well as sunsets over the
Pacific. Looking south to the Sea of Cort?s, you can see the famous Land's End Arch.
The Harrisons offer five large, airy and beautifully decorated guest rooms that provide plenty of privacy.
The hearty breakfasts may feature huevos rancheros, Mexican-style French toast with a caramel butter sauce and sauteed banana, frittata or jumbo
breakfast wrap, along with home-baked breads, fresh-fruit smoothies or fruit plates. Prices range from $120 to $175 US a night, depending on room and
season.
