Whenever my Puerto Rican grandmother thought I was doing something cute as a kid, she would say, "¡Ay, qué lindo!" Today's SpanishDictionary.com word substitutes the versatile word "mono," as in "¡Qué mono!" Has anyone heard any other variations?

Chulo is another versatile word. WordReference.com shows it meaning a variety of things, from brazen to cute.

Which in some dialects also means "pimp". :smug:
