Been listenin' to some Buffett tunes this morning.... my son asked earlier if I'd seen the news. Marc - 9-2-2023 at 01:23 PM
Late 90's a Bud and I were in Trinidad & Tobago. We flew from Port O Spain to Scarborough on Tobago. The day after we landed we saw white
amphibian land at the airport next to the beach. Later that afternoon we were in a really nice restaurant nearby having drinks and looking forward to
dinner later on. The waiter asked us to leave as there was a private party planned. We later found out it was Jimmy Buffet getting together with his
friends.
His book 'A Pirate Turns Fifty' describes his adventures flying his beautiful white plane.

I was lucky enough to see Jimmy 4 times. Tahiti 1983, In Cardiff 1984 (he did a set with the house band at the Triton), and twice in the bay area in
the 90s.
Such great memories!BajaParrothead - 9-2-2023 at 02:20 PM
Sad day for sure. Been waiting around for the announcement to resume the tour, but now it all makes sense. Last saw him in Sacramento in March 2019.
I will forever remember the Las Vegas shows as they always had the pool party before the show!
I just read that he battled skin cancer for the past four years and three of those years it had escalated into lymphoma. Sail on Jimmy Tioloco - 9-2-2023 at 07:36 PM

SB County Bowl, May 1977 the one time I saw him in concert. It was a blast.
A great songwriter. His tunes reflected our lives in ways only music can speak.
