If I head south next week will I have trouble with flood damage?

No, don't worry about it.
I drove today from Rosarito Beach to Guerrero Negro via San Felipe. No problems.

And I drove down to the south of Rosarito today. Had a detour just north of Rosarito but no problem. There is a construction project on the border
road that goes to the toll road but maybe a 5-minute delay. The Mexican crews do a great job clearing major roads after weather events.

Discover Baja Travel Club warned all member to delay travel...
Due to recent rains, there is extensive flooding in Northern Baja. Roads and border crossings in areas such as Tijuana, Rosarito, Ensenada, and
Tecate are completely flooded with multiple feet of water. Large boulders have fallen onto the roads in some areas. Please stay off of roads and delay
travel in the region for a few days until conditions have improved.

Lots of rain during the mega-drought. Is the Goat OK?
