Development at Punta Rosarito (the "Wall")?

Planning a trip down to central Baja to surf. One of the spots I want to stop at is the Wall. Haven't been down since 2022, but looking at satellite images, it looks like there is development going on. Can anybody corroborate this?

There used to be just one house somebody tried to build but it has sat abandoned for years. Now, looking at the satellite images, it looks like large swaths of land have been graded/cleared next to the existing structure. It even looks like RVs have parked permanently near the boat ramp? I've attached a photo of the area I'm talking about. The boat ramp is also visible in the picture.

Hoping somebody who's been there recently can comment. Thanks!

I don't know any of the details, but I spent a couple nights there last December on my way south, camped near the abandoned house you mentioned. There was a sign posted there talking about a lot or maybe multiple lots for sale if I remember correctly. You could see evidence of some clearing, but it looked pretty rudimentary, not like big machinery had come in and cleared land to develop, more like someone had done some dragging to make it look cleared and ready to build something on.

Thanks Trunkrack. From what I can tell, the last satellite images from google earth were taken around Sep 2023. If you were there last winter and no other development had taken place, that's a good sign. Would be a shame if people built houses there.
