I sent a message to our resort and asked if the parking was free. I received this response:
"Good morning.
The parking lot is free.
You can pay as your convenience.
Have a wonderful weekend."
OK, so is the parking free or not??Bajazly - 10-5-2025 at 09:50 AM
Probably a hint to tip the security guard that hangs out in the parking lot to watch over things.4x4abc - 10-5-2025 at 11:02 AM
very common in Baja - they really don't get their point across.
I have stopped reading announcements and social media posts by locals.
can't speak for the rest of Mexico - but Baja is bad when it comes to communication.advrider - 10-5-2025 at 09:58 PM
I rode to Cabo last year and the resort (all inclusive) had free parking. Hope that helps. surabi - 10-14-2025 at 06:45 PM

It isn't just Baja or Mexico. Many people in general seem to have forgotten how to communicate effectively.
For example, I had put up an ad on a local online group looking for a housesitter. I was very thorough in my ad, explaining what my place was like,
what tasks would be needed to be done, etc. You wouldn't believe how many responses I got that just said, "Hi". That's it. As if they were texting
with their buddy.
Then there were those that said things like "I can do it", "Do you accept children?", etc. No giving their name, no introduction, no telling me
anything about their situation and why they would be interested.
I finally bit the bullet, paid $100 to join an actual housesitter site, and right away found a great housesitter, who had written an informative
profile and actually communicated with me like an intelligent adult.
