Is parking free or not????

I sent a message to our resort and asked if the parking was free. I received this response:

"Good morning.

The parking lot is free.

You can pay as your convenience.

Have a wonderful weekend."

OK, so is the parking free or not??

Probably a hint to tip the security guard that hangs out in the parking lot to watch over things.

Your confusion is understandable; Are they saying you can pay for your accomodations at your convenience, or that the parking lot is available?

With the (insufficient) context you've provided, no way to know.

very common in Baja - they really don't get their point across.
I have stopped reading announcements and social media posts by locals.
can't speak for the rest of Mexico - but Baja is bad when it comes to communication.

I rode to Cabo last year and the resort (all inclusive) had free parking. Hope that helps.
