We are leaving Redding after work on Sept. 21 to spend 10 days bouncing around Baja between El Rosario and Puertecitos in the North to Villa Jesus
Maria and San Francisquito in the south and I have a couple questions to finalize our plans.
We are they on paving the road South of San Felipe to Puertecitos? I know there is a thread on here about it but it went off on a tangent and has no
current info.
Also from Tijuana where is the first place you can fill up at Mexico gas prices vs. border prices?
Same with entering in Mexicali and heading towards San Felipe. Where is the first station with cheaper fuel?
Thanks.

The good pavement goes to near Coloradito (about 40 miles south of San Felipe).
The Pemex/ AM-PM market, on the toll road, just south of all the Rosarito exits.
The town of La Puerta, south of Mexicali is more than 20 km. from the border and has a Pemex... It may not be open 24 hours, however.
