In most towns in Baja, is it safe to leave your car, (trunk loaded with all your stuff) on the street, or is there a safer idea? Sorry for such a
basic question, I'm not sure I'd want to do it here in Philly.

You know, you drive into town and want to walk around a bit.David K - 7-17-2007 at 06:50 PM
What choices do you have... not go to town?
I feel safer in Baja (over 100 miles south of the border) than in L.A. or other cities!bacquito - 7-17-2007 at 06:54 PM
I used to live in Philly and I feel that my car is as safe in Mexico as Philadelphia if you have good security devices such as "the club" and good
locks. Also I prefer to leave my car in a lighted area. Have a good trip!
There IS a Reason

Whenever you go to the larger stores such as Costco, Walmart and Home Depot that they have security guards patrolling the parking lots.edinnopolo - 7-17-2007 at 07:09 PM
BV,
We spend time in La Paz frequently and always leave our car, full of stuff, even in the back seat, and never had a problem thusfar. Would not do it at
night though. And we usually park downtown on fairly busy streets.Bruce R Leech - 7-17-2007 at 07:20 PM
