Emile Griffith killed Benny "the Kid" Paret for a similar word uttered at a pre-fight weigh-in.

Joto (pronounced: Hoto), derogatory Spanish slang for a gay man

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joto

did someone call you this???

Capt. George - 6-25-2008 at 06:48 AM

somebody oughta donate a "baking potatoe" to this guy with the tights.

he looks so stupid he'd probably put it in the back of his suit!!!!

shari - 6-25-2008 at 07:22 AM

Joto is a very common word here and used when guys show up here alone or with another guy...it's usually a joke but I wouldn't go around calling mexican guys that. KInda like puto...which is also often a joke...people teach their kids to say it thinking it's funny. But the guys who are not married...tourists who are here are usually referred to as jotos...kinda like kiddin around in grade 6...ya homo.

OK, Mike..... These questions don't just pop into your mind. Tell us the whole story.

fdt - 6-25-2008 at 07:48 AM

Ha ha, no it's not about me this time. It was from a thread that has been deleted.
I ran it through my translatr but no good.
But I think we all know what Joto means now.

ELINVESTIG8R - 6-25-2008 at 01:07 PM

Hose A can you please come on this thread and delete it as I am personally offended by this vile and disgusting Joto/Maricon talk. The following is for comedic emphasis.
