My kids are coming to San Felipe from Vegas - thier car has the limo tint on all windows - is this a problem crossing at Mexicali ????Pescador - 7-8-2008 at 07:40 PM
Not unless they have machine guns behind the glass. I would be surprised if they even noticed, but if you have a problem just tell them to act stupid
and say they need to see their father in San Felipe.toneart - 7-8-2008 at 07:54 PM
I have seen a lot more tinted windows in Baja than I have in the U.S.bajadogs - 7-8-2008 at 09:58 PM
FYI - Driver's side window and front passenger window tinting is illegal in California.CaboRon - 7-9-2008 at 05:34 AM

Yes, as the CA Hwy Patrol officer was writing me a fix it ticket for my tinted windows he made the remark "they made me remove the tint on my
truck when I moved to California"
I think he might have had personal issues

Has any of you with the illegal (CA) tinted driver and front passenger windows thought of just driving through TJ with your tinted windows rolled
down??? bajalou - 7-9-2008 at 08:54 AM
I believe TJ passed a recent law prohibiting tinted windows. Hadn't heard of it in Mexicali though.
